SA Classics Reprints Provincial Launch: Nothern Cape

The National Library of South Africa has embarked on the hand over of the South African Classics to the nine Provinces. The National Librarian (CEO) has ceremonially handed over classics books to the MEC of Sport, Arts and Culture in Northern Cape, Ms Pauline Williams on 9 July 2009.

NLSA signs MoU with National Library & Archives of the Islamic Republic of Iran

The Ambassador of the People's Republic of Iran, His Excellency Asghar Ebrahim Asla and the Cultural advisor to the President of Islamic Republic of Iran and Director of the National Library and Archives, Ali Akbar Ashari visited the National Library of South Africa to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and cooperation with the National Librarian of South Africa, John Tsebe.
